Universal – custom-made cold rooms and freezer rooms

The Universal cold and freezer rooms are designed and manufactured at our plant in Ylöjärvi individually, according to the dimensions supplied by you. The Universal Cold Room solution can include angles and irregular shapes – even sloped ceilings are possible.

Porkka cold rooms are well-suited for the cold storage of retail outlets, various meal and catering services and the food industry.

The freezer room version with higher insulation thickness allows a higher ambient temperature.

Blast Cold Room

The cold rooms are always designed according to the intended use and particularly the space available. Thanks to this, each solution is a perfect fit, and you won’t need to compromise on the properties or dimensions of your cold room.

Each custom-made cold or freezer room is also available with an independent cooling unit. One efficient Porkka refrigeration unit can cool a space of up to 22 cubic meters within a room. When necessary, we can install more than one piece of equipment for larger spaces and operations.

Porkka Universal cold rooms can be equipped with a variety of standard-sized hinged or sliding doors, according to need. The doors are made in the same plant as our wall elements and are designed for daily, heavy-duty use.
